I LOVE Cheddar's. But I haven't been since the name change until tonight and my thoughts...MEH. Out of Honey Lime dressing. The lettuce in the salad was huge, received the croissants toward the end of dinner. The Hawaiian chicken salad is gone (my standard at Cheddar's.) Another person in my party said the bourbon glazed salmon was missing the side cup of the glaze. And finally one other person got the chicken pot pie and the inside looked like chicken soup not the normal creamy. ☹️ I hope it was just a bad night.
Cheddar's has been one of our favorites in Owensboro ever since they opened a few years ago. So many food options for different tastes - appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steaks, pasta, veggies - and the best ranch dressing ever. Great atmosphere, delicious food that tastes home-cooked.
She told me the company had changed ownership. Too bad. I'm not gonna give them a third chance. Good Luck with your from scratch kitchen.
I used to order the chicken pot pie and it was perfect. The last two times I ordered chicken pot pie, it was terrible! The cream sauce was thin and watery, every bite of chicken had a chunk of gristle on it. Major turn off. Gristle pot pie.
I asked the waitress what happened?
Had lunch there today (fried fish) and it was excellent. Service was great, portions were ample and the food was hot and fresh. Everything tasted great! Only 4 stars due to the fact that it took a little while to get our food and it would be nice to have some rolls or bread while waiting.
Was there TWO hours until we got our food. Not fun when you have a hungry 3 year old boy. People who got there way after us received their food before we even got our appetizer.
