Had an appointment a month in advance, confirmed a few days beforehand, and they never showed up. They also never returned my phone calls. After scrambling I hired another company, who did a great job. They told me we weren't the first desperate family to call them after being stood up by Big O. Hire at your own risk.
Excellent service and really nice guys. Very thorough and careful with our furniture. Barry is easy to get in touch with and always answered the phone when I called, or immediately returned the call. Very pleasant experience, highly recommend.
I called Barry a month in advance to schedule my move. I gave every detail of what I was needing and what the movers could expect. I live on the 3rd floor and made it very clear to Barry so he could come prepared. He showed up on the day of move with 1 truck and 3 other guys and said he was unaware this was a third floor move.... He said he would need to call in "reinforcement". After 45 minutes 2 other guys showed up. Very inexperienced, very unprofessional, very argumentative , very disrespectful. Call Pat Hayden and save yourself the disappointment and destruction. Big O movers have all the equipment to move responsibly but they do not use it. I have scuffed door facings and walls in a brand new home, scratched furniture, a busted shelf and scratched picture frames that were very sentimental (I questioned Barry how they would be moved and stored more than once). I have spoke to Barry three times on the phone since his poor service and unprepared, unorganized and unprofessional move and he has hung up on me all three times. He cant effectively manage this business and he does not value his clients. He has a list of people he wont move again, I am on it and I am glad, obviously I would never call them again anyway. The fact he even has a list says it all! Do not call Big O Movers if you are expecting a professional job and to be treated with respect. Big O Mistake!
