The first thing I checked when returning to my car was the distance driven and if it was boosted hard. I was surprised to see that the tech at Raben thought it was necessary to hit max boost in a customer's car. This can only happen when driving the car and going wide open throttle. I returned to the store immediately and notified the staff. They spoke with the tech, which denied driving the car hard, but he did drive it in order to remove the tire pressure warning light (You only need to hit 25-30mph for the tpms to update). I was told management would be notified of the issue, and that was it.
Ordered a wheel and tire on Tuesday. I brought the bad wheel in for them to have an EXACT copy to look at when they order a new one. Told me it should be in either the next day or Thursday. I call Thursday and they tell me the wheel is here but I can't pick it up until friday. It is now Friday, I pay for the wheel, bring it home, and it's not even the right size to fit on my car. Now the SECOND wheel they ordered won't be until next Tuesday. Four more days without a vehicle to add on to the four I've already had to wait, when I was originally told two. Great mechanics over at Raben, really know what they're doing.
I left my car at Raben Tire to have my 4 tires replaced; this was the first tire change since the car was purchased new. When I left the vehicle I reset the odometer and boost gauge since I had to return to work while I left the car for service.
This place is TERRIBLE!!! They gave me a $1200 list of parts and labor I needed done on my truck to get an alignment done...parts on this list included new parts that were JUST put in the front end...so I knew it was not right. I went to Shelby's and it was $400, only thing g I needed was ball joints upper on both sides and lower and one side and the alignment. They said and showed me that everything else was fine. RABAN WILL ADD STUFF YOU DOBT NEED TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OFF YOU
If youve got a nice performance car this is noy the place for you. They thought it would be nice to take my El Camino for a spin. Caught them flooring it in my car. Highly recommend going elsewhere
I have done my best to maintain this car from the day I drove it off the lot 1.5 yrs ago, and I am disappointed/frustrated/let down, that the one time I leave it unattended at a local shop the lack of respect and care for a customers property was so obvious.
4 days later I was able to get a thorough wash on my car and clean up all the grease that was still left on the wheels from the change. That is when I noticed multiple scratches on each of the wheels.
Great customer service they listen to you & discuss your cars needs before doing anything they offer a wide range of options to fit your needs & budget. Waiting room is comfortable and has free WiFi & popcorn which is a plus.
