2nd experience was horrible. I called to see if they could fix the emergency brake on my truck, they said they could & that I should bring it in the following morning. After 2 full work days they still hadn't touched my truck! I can understand being busy but that's when they asked me to bring my truck in! How do they think I get to work to earn money to pay them?!
1st experience was good. I took them tires to put on my car & to have the car aligned & tires balanced. They were the cheapest in town & were accommodating.
They were very courteous, and efficient. Really worked with me
Good customer service over the phone, willing to look for certain used tire just for the shear certainty.
I always hear great things about Beckman and so when I've had 'blah' experiences in the past I just thought it was an aberration.For instance, one time I was in here getting my tires rotated and while backing the car out, the technician had left something in the way and it tore the plastic under-siding of my car loose. He zip-tied it back to the frame of the car and sent me on my way. But after today I think they really are "blah". Yesterday I called and was told that if I came in that afternoon I would have a half hour wait before they could get to my car, better to come in at 7:30am the next morning and they'd get me right in. They must have told everyone else in town that same thing because after waiting 45 minutes, my car was still waiting to be worked on. And given the state of the cars being serviced, wheels off and hoods up, it seemed it would take even longer to get my car in. I am happy they are successful but if you are waiting with your car and you have places to be, go elsewhere. If you have all the time in the world or can drop off your car, then this may be an acceptable place for you.
