Unfortunately there are more and more people finding themselves with out jobs, or unable to afford insurance, so a place like the McAuley Clinic is a wonderful place to go when one needs the medical attention they are capable of providing. The medical staff is very empathetic towards the needs of their patients and treat each one with kindness, their front desk helpers however leave a lot to be desired. They are often rude, and snarl their faces up at the first sign of someone asking a question. Being a volunteer myself, I know it is paramount to treat those in need with respect. Being a volunteer isn't about filling your idle time, or being there just to get recognition, it's about helping others, and doing so compassionately.
