Very friendly staff. The vehicles are very comfortable. Not bad for the price.
They were late to pick me up from the auto body shop. I was 30 min late to work. The driver was wreck less and complained of short staffing. Did not explain gas prices, sign says "your gas is on us". Took $23 out of my account for TWO gallons of gas I didn't fill back up. Was not asked to fill back up since it was six hour rental, less than 1/8 tank used. Insc. Was supposed to pay all expenses. When called for explaination for debit the staff was rude. This was Hertz in Owensboro, KY.
I'm giving this General location 2 Stars due to the fact that my first time renting from them was a complete disaster this does not speak for the entire company as the company as a whole was rather helpful. Made reservations two weeks in advance did not receive adequate vehicle that I requested for my trip. I asked for a vehicle with a trunk for multiple bags and luggage they tried to give me a hatchback. Told them a hatchback would not work due to the multitude of luggage was told the seats fold down in the hatchback therefore creating a safety issue so that if I had to abruptly stop or Panic break the luggage I was traveling with could smack me in the back of the head great suggestion. Again this is not the entire company just this Owensboro location I will be getting my vehicle from Evansville from now on.
