Dear God, TURN THE VOLUME DOWN!!! I wear hearing aids - I turned them off and it was still too loud. More volume does not enhance the experience IMHO, it's just abusive.
The theater is a modern multiplex, clean and accessible, though the rest rooms may be a bit tight for a wheelchair. Stadium seating, comfortable seats, gentle stairs with lighting, although the steps are set in pairs with mini-landings between the pairs. I wish all the steps were the same height and width.
We were very disappointed this weekend when we went to see The Greatest Showman. We loved the movie, but we were in a small theater without stadium seating. There were broken chairs that were covered with trash bags, trash in the seats, and the theater was packed. The Greatest Showman hasn't been out long enough to be in such a small theater. I wanted to see it again and take my kids, so we went to Newburgh Showplace Cinema and saw it in the stadium seating like it should have been. It even costs less there so we will go again.
5 *s for the hearing impaired devices offered. They have the closed caption device that I think is awesome.
This is a big part of why I rarely go out to the movies. I'd rather Netflix.
This theatre has seen its better days. The grounds and appearance from the outside are atrocious. When in the theatre, most of the time we have to watch our movie on a tiny screen in one of the small show rooms for some reason we can't figure out. The sound isn't much better than what we have at home. We have no closer option to see movies before they leave theatres, or we would not go back.
I took my family to see star wars at 3:15 and the line for snacks was massive. There were several people behind the counter, but only 2 of them were helping people. When we finally made it to the front of the line the little girl with brown hair, black glasses, and no visible name tag was rude.
Carpets and bathrooms could be updated and cleaned better. Prices are crazy at the concession stand. Might want to eat before arriving. 4 dollars for a bottle of water. 5 for a small drink and it keeps going up from there..
